August 8, 2021 - Nice gold color. Apple, pear, slight lemon peel and honey. Had it with salmon, shrimp, and lobster. Neutral pairing—Didn’t enhance or detract from food. Overall a quaffable example of a Santa Barbara Chard.
March 11, 2020 - Good fruit flavors - orange, apple and flowers. A great pairing with the grilled swordfish and not bad with the Atlantic Salmon and rice in chicken broth, too.
Good qpr for $14 / bottle. Drink now
December 9, 2019 - Hit or miss, seemed flat and a bit tired day 1, much better showing with food on 2nd night, good foil to roasted spatchcock chicken- some florals emerged with buttery wood, apple and creamy citrus notes.
September 25, 2019 - This bottle drank better (on Coravin pours over a week). Apple, flowers, honeysuckle. Still not all that showy but a good pairing with our harpooned swordfish and roasted, herbal chicken. Also quite good with the potato leek soup and thr roasted potatoes with black-dirt onions.
We paid $14 on sale and with free shipping. Good value at that price.

May 15, 2019 - A Coravin pour of this was rejected (in favor of Foxglove chardonnay). Not unpleasant but a shy wine, with subtle notes of apple, pear and honeysuckle but I expected more - especially for $30 retail at winery and 90 points Wine Enthusiast.
Wasn’t a good pairing with our fish. Maybe needs chicken?
Maybe had bottle shock from travel? Or is too old? Time will tell.
January 29, 2019 - Pleasant, not over-oaked nor too fat in the way of some CA chards. Has some cut. But the flavors seemed overly shy and subtle 87ish
November 13, 2018 - Not worth the $30 I paid for it.
October 7, 2018 - I liked this except at the finish it was acidic.
August 23, 2018 - Smooth, rich mouthfeel. Baked apple and caramel flavors with some toast on the finish. Soft acidity on the finish.
