November 16, 2016 - Deep gold/brass w a hint of orange - big, wafting nose - geraniums, Pledge , the sweet smell of old varnish in an antique shop - burnished toffee - sweet orange peel hits the palate, and it carries that through - this has a wonderful sweet orange/citrus essence, not simply sweet like toffee or caramel - apricots for sure - it is perfectly balanced, and the acidity keeps the sweetness in check- mid weight, light on its feet, does not taste or feel syrupy or confected, but it is quite concentrated and intense - seems quite youthful, just a minor miss mid-palate, but finishes strong and long. Truly delicious

November 26, 2009 - very nice acidity to balance a very high sugar level. pear, quince, apricot, peach, but also a nice minerality and citrus quality that helped keep this from being cloying. long, long finish.
