May 2, 2016 - First of all, demerits for the stupid oversize bottle. What a waste and an annoyance. Putting that aside, I just wasn't that fond of this. Maybe in a tough place, but tiring on the palate and rather disjointed. Time might heal the wounds, not not sure I feel like waiting to find out.

March 27, 2012 - Note after 2 hours in the decanter. Nose of anise and black fruits. Cedar and tobacco on the palate - drinks more like a bordeaux, however it lacks complexity and has a short finish. I don't see this getting better and it was not worth the tariff.
