February 20, 2022 - Deep garnet color. Aromas of baking spice, red plum, herbs de provence come on right away. Plush mouthfeel with smooth tannins and acidity which just manages to carry these flavors along; lower acidity on this wine than I expected. This was fully mature and at or just past peak today, good if not very good.

December 5, 2021 - A year ago I’ve tasted and enjoyed my first Le Cedre of 2011, now I have a pleasure to come back to this lush and bold Malbec.
Deep opaque ruby colour with purple hue. Intense and rich aroma of pencil lead, blueberries, tar, leather, earth, smoky charred wood, hint of barnyard. Full body, powerful structure filled with earthy, rich and bold fruitiness, great acidity kick before powdery tannins coats the mounth and concludes with medium length of leathery finish along oaky hints.

January 29, 2021 - Opaque, dark reddish core, rich and thick. omas showing florals, plums, dark cherries, forest floor, cigar box.
Medium to full bodied, good structure overall. Good acidity, slightly grainy/chewy to dusty drying tannins (not overpowering, but still present). Flavours open with dried cherries, blueberries, and plums … a heaviness to the fruit. Not sweet fruit but a bitter tinge to them. Dark bitter chocolate, full rich/ripe and chewy. Spices on finish. Longish finish. Structured. Enjoyable wine.

November 12, 2020 - closed nose with only vague hints of black fruit, leather, mushrooms. a lot of density on the palate with grippy but ripe tannins. medium long finish. objectively a good wine but not the great wine i expected as one of the most reputed Cahors winen. too austere, too classic. lacked that "little edge"/personality that make me recognize a great wine when i taste it

June 7, 2020 - Il a moins bien paru que Les Laquets 2005 bu en même temps.
Assez austère, un brin asséchant. Encore beaucoup de matière
et de tannins charnus. C`est encore massif en
ce moment, hyper long, la prochaine attendra quelques
    années.
