June 10, 2019 - And now only 6+ weeks later: again lovely — with super acid backbone, making its go so well with food. Highly enjoyable over three nights.

April 29, 2019 - 29 months later: tart strawberry, white pepper, suggestion of pine, lovely balance/acidity. Highly enjoyable over four nights, and showing super integration and staying power throughout.

May 21, 2017 - A beautiful Pinot that is hitting its stride in flavor and integration. Gorgeous mouth feel with lovely red cherry and red berries along with some darker undertones. Lush and rich without being over the top. Covers the palate and delivers a lasting impression. Quality and purity of fruit is the headline here.

March 29, 2017 - very quiet nose; warm pomegranate under a lively young strawberry; a little too much acidity in the finish.

January 31, 2017 - A winning effort from Jason Drew once again. The Valenti always benefits from additional time in the bottle so I probably drank this too early. It has some nice structure, evident tannin and a savory element. The fruit is integrated and is not overly ripe, which allows the structure and overall synergy of the wine take center stage. Drew produces a consistent, high quality product and sometimes I take for granted the excellence I always find in his wines.
