May 15, 2020 - Labeled as 12.5% abv. Bright, fruity with hints of orange zest amid red berries and cherries. I have liked this producer in other vintages also. Good qpr. 90-91 pts.

April 30, 2020 - Much better, much more complex, than my first bottle a few years ago. This is developing beautifully and I think it might improve further still. Decanted two hours before dinner, it was still shy when served but improved a lot over a long dinner and was great by hour SIX ! It was even better on night two, so air and age are clearly friends to this wine. It has a great aromatic profile of sweet cherry, hints of rosewater, beetroot and Asian spices. It has a medium body, excellent acidity, tannins that are present but not intrusive, a lovely hint of sweetness on the mid-palate, and a very long, sappy, bittersweet and mineral finish. Excellent QPR.

March 21, 2020 - Red cherry some tea notes and menthol. Palate quite acidic fruit more dominant. Tea there too.

December 1, 2019 - From magnum. Bright crunchy red fruits, crisp acidity, drinking great today. Doesn't need any more time, approaching peak drinking window even in the large format.

August 31, 2019 - From earlier in the summer, another quality outing for this cuvee and a home run QPR. A couple of years in the bottle evens it out just enough.
