February 2, 2019 - Deep ruby red in appearance. Layered and spiced nose with notes of bramble, blackberries, purple flowers and herbs. Medium tannins (5.5/10) and medium bodied. Nice kick of flavor and spice on the palate with aniseed, cocoa, blackberries, tobacco leaves and gravel. Medium plus finish. Drink till 2022.

October 20, 2018 - Big Tempranillo Blend (from Napa) that was somewhat "edgy" on opening that mellowed a bit on Day 2. Some aging may certainly help round out the flavors. Overall, the wine was good but not great compared to a few similar big Spanish wines currently on the market. Having said that, it is a good value wine that will likely improve over a few years.

October 12, 2018 - Great fruit from syrah with tannins of tempranillo. This well worth price of admission. Good balance. Med acid. Smidge hot. I wanna evaluate more but for 16 buck so worth giving a shot.
