Community Tasting Notes 18

  • Sean Tay Does not like this wine: 85 points

November 7, 2020 - Medium ruby colour. Pronounced intensity nose with red and black currant, meaty, wet forest, grass, earth, leather, medicinal. Dry palate, high acidity, high tannin, 12.5% alcohol, medium+ alcohol, medium+ body, medium+ flavour intensity, medium+ finish. Was told that its brett.

April 15, 2020 - No score here, tasted like essence of a floral perfume, not wine. No chance for this to redeem itself with food or otherwise for my taste, and I'm fairly forgiving. Where's the fruit, this was made from grapes right?!?! NC who drinks and enjoys this flavor profile and style, but more power to you, still have 85% of the bottle if you want it...ugh! F me.

March 16, 2020 - Light, soft, well made. Goes down very well. Good with lunch. Always pleased to find a decent wine that comes in at 12 percent. No rush.

    June 30, 2019 - Fruity and mellow

May 27, 2019 - Floral and spice driven start with black and red cherry and earth hints. Moderate weight, but good balance. Served to me double blind, I thought this was Burgundy!
