January 9, 2017 - The first thing that strikes you upon opening is the excellent tannin structure. Ruby red in colour. Medium bodied in classic Yarra Valley style. Lovely subtle French oak. Hints of cigar box and fennel seed. Mainly red fruits, some dark fruits. Drank over four days and the shiraz introduced itself further over that time. Predominantly cabernet and an excellent 'luncheon claret'. Superb value for money here. Will cellar well but just as easy to drink now.

September 17, 2016 - Pencil lead and bramble on nose

Black fruit, spice and tannin on palate. Medium finish

July 29, 2016 - 55% CS / 26% Merlot / 19% Shiraz. Quite a savoury nose - tomato bush, methoxy-capsicum, some cassis. It's light on the palate, black fruits, red fruits, some acid and tannin but lacks persistence for me.
