October 27, 2019 - Red fruit, cherry, strawberry. Notes of spice and earth as well, but still tannic on the finish. We probably drank this too soon but it was still tasty. Great with the slow-roasted duck and with the herbal, heritage chicken

Drink now but better if aged for 2-3 years.

Great qpr for our $20 / bottle price.

September 3, 2017 - Very nice PN. Ruby red color with a hint of orange on rim of glass. Opens with a distinct bing cherry aroma. Taste of cherry and had what appeared to be a limestone mineral finish. Well balanced, and a very good drinking wine. Not the best California PN I've ever had (when drinking CA I like a more fruit forward, this drinks more like a Burgandy, which I also love very much) but very enjoyable. Great customer service too! Highly recommend this producer.
