February 26, 2023 - The first word that came to mind as I tried this is delicious. The nose is like sitting next to a mountain stream, with sweet peach and apple fruit on the palate.

I liked it before (my previous note from 2019), but I am even more impressed today. Off the charts from a QPR perspective. I unfortunately only have a couple more, because no telling how much longer this wine might last.

March 1, 2019 - I just tried the '13 version of this, and I definitely prefer this vintage - either less sweet or more acidity, but either way this hits the palate in a more balanced package than the '13.

October 13, 2018 - Well, this is pretty much a perfect Kabinett. I hadn't purchased any 2014 Germans and did not plan to, but I couldn't resist picking these up on closeout. Nearly colorless in the glass but with real aromatic fireworks - touch of sponti but just a touch, and the palate is just packed with chalk and minerals. Slight sweetness, solid and well-balanced acids. Reminds me a lot of Joh. Jos. Prüm's Graacher Himmelreich Kabinett. I'm glad I have more of these.

June 23, 2018 - Flaxen hue. Fruit nectar nose, tropical, slight petrol, pineapple-- nice nose. Light, nice viscosity, nicely balanced, not too dry or sweet, long finish, refreshing. Better with food.

June 12, 2018 - Great balance. Give me some more Kabinett. GG can be nice, but please, let it not crowd out the beautiful Kabinetts!!
