August 22, 2020 - 34 months after the prior: Mineral/ slate; a bit oily; nicely balanced with lovely acidity. No drama. A contemplative wine. Quite enjoyable over three nights.
December 26, 2019 - Popped, poured, consumed over next 90 minutes. This has developed well since last tasting. 91+
August 29, 2019 - Interesting wine. Both citrus and richer stone fruit, the palate has weight without being heavy (some good acidity helping). Touch of honey? Nice mid palate texture too, a little chewy. Asks questions of you.
April 14, 2018 - Nice, slightly heavier than expected,
January 28, 2018 - 70% Carricante and 30% Cataratto. Popped, poured, enjoyed over next 90 minutes. Started nicely and developed in the glass. Lemon, star fruit, and shellfish stock. Delicious.
January 3, 2018 - Very impressive in its price range. Strong chalk, grapefruit and lemongrass on the nose. Taste had solid acidity, a touch of honey and lemon-lime. Very clean finish. Tremendous value.
October 1, 2017 - Similar to our prior note. And it confirmed our recollection that this more is a thoughtful -- contrasted with a dramatic or impressionistically obvious -- wine.
August 30, 2017 - Whole Fish Night with Whites (It's Greek to Me, Mpls): Brief note: Lemon, grapefruit, fresh, good acid and minerality.
July 21, 2017 - Nose: lemon, grapefruit rind, quince, very mineral, wet rocks, limestone, chalky, white flowers, clean
Taste: medium bodied, medium+ acidity, lemon, quince, lemon rind, again very mineral, wet rocks, salty, nice grapefruit bitterness on the finish, big structure, fruit is behind, very good and still young
June 14, 2017 - Clean, fresh and precise, featuring ample pear and citrus flavors and a bracing acidity that made this an excellent match with tuna sashimi.
