November 16, 2014 - Should have waited another year. Less green on palate than one year ago, but still faintly there.

June 27, 2014 - Visit with Thibault Liger-Belair: Served blind to us, we picked this as definitely not 2004, perhaps 2003 or 2007. Andrew said it was definitely not NSG, and none of us disagreed, with me picking Gevrey. The bouquet was a little secondary with notes of Epoisses, brushwood, old spices and tobacco, over a core of ripe red fruit. The palate was consistent, a little secondary, showing underbrush character. Thibault wanted us to taste this without prejudice. A good wine that can cellar for the medium term.

December 7, 2013 - This bottle was plagued by the 2004 GM disease. So sad, as this wine was absolutely stunning when tasted at the Domaine in 2006.

November 26, 2013 - Too much underlying green on palate for me. But better 2nd day. I'll try to wait 3 years before finishing my last 2.

October 20, 2013 - Clear dark purple in colour. Clean nose of red fruit and floral. Dry, med body, med acidity, nice tannins, raspberry, red currant, and some spice. Nice finish. I think I was drinking a different wine from the other tasters. Had this paired with halibut, and the wine was great. I just starting to dabble in burgundy, and based on this bottle, I am excited.

(Liger-Belair Thibault Nuits St.Georges Les St.Georges) Medium colour. Faint 2004 aromas before red berries reveal themselves. This doesn't come across as powerful, rather very complex and interesting. Not at all masculine, rather nice.

(Thibault Liger-Belair Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les Saint Georges) Medium cherry red; high pitched framboise, rosehips and tart strawberry nose; narrow, tart cherry palate with green edges, rosehips, good concentration and firm tannins; medium finish
