September 6, 2020 - This wine is such a stud. Hard pressed to think of another in the $12 range that comes with this much verve and personality. This was very focused and lively. Drank like a current vintage, no evidence of bottle age and could go for some time. I'm out of '15s but keep buying new releases. Pale in the glass, sterner stone fruits. a great food wine.

November 14, 2018 - Wow, this has a zingy, pepperiness to it that borders on creating a pop rocks sensation on the tongue. White pepper and lime zest on the palate, with a citrus nose. Off dry. Fun to drink.

August 26, 2018 - This is such a versatile wine. 11% so on the drier side and so much personality. A QPR champ that I love having around, buy it every vintage. This one was very clean and bright. Good verve, we had it with fried chicken at a picnic in the park. Nice end to summer. Very pale coloring, fresh stone fruit, light on the palate. A nice rendition.

August 14, 2018 - Balanced, easy drinking, improved over three days. 11% abv, with some residual sweetness, but definitely a food wine. Sweet-sour citrus, tangerine, bracing slate. A little stinky at first but this blew off. A certain steeliness gave way to generous Nahe fruit with air. The long persistent finish elevated my score. Should age well.

March 28, 2018 - 2015 German Rieslings; 3/28/2018-3/29/2018 (Mark's): This was the groups WOTN although it only got one first place vote. I enjoyed it but perhaps a bit less. Light golden in color. The nose has some sulfur on it along with some minerals. On the palate, this is sweet. There is a nice complexity her and a lovely texture. Sour lemon candy. Almost a sweet-tart like quality. Nice finish. Great value for this wine although I have no idea how it ages or where it goes from here.
