October 13, 2014 - What a pleasant surprise, after so many years in storage. Just perfect.
August 27, 2009 - A really solid Chardonnay, some oak and toasted vanilla, as well as coconut, some nutty flavors and ripe orange zest, very well balanced and smooth, acidity is noticable but unobtrusive. I have enjoyed 6 bottles of this over the summer and I have liked each one.
July 1, 2008 - This bottle aged very well. It fully developed the depth with the unmistakeable Mer Soleil oak. One of our favorite vintages.
October 27, 2007 - Last bottle..lush tropical fruity, a touch of flint, a smooth and lingering finish in the mouth that was just right
July 21, 2007 - M&D’s: This was a lumber-yard. Completely oaky; intense fruit back there, rich very viscous mth, darker yellow, but couldn’t get past the oak. M&D LOVED it. I could barely finish.
March 11, 2007 - tropical fruit, butterscotch, pear and a little toasted goodness- excellent, wish I had more than one bottle left
November 22, 2006 - Still very youthful for a traditionally over the top Chardonnay. The nose had notes of tropical fruit, baked apple and pear, butterscotch, buttered popcorn, spicy vanilla oak toast, comfirmed on the palate with equal notes, a fairly rich -yet not too heavy- tongue coating creamy mouthfeel, that left behind traces of a buttered apple pie with roasted nuts.
