  October 25, 2021 - This was a weird one. Translucent garnet with a tawny hue. Very firm, raw, drying and raspy tannins, surprising given the vintage. The nose and palate had some notes of dried coconut, leather and earth, which was surprising as I thought this producer was fully traditional. Lacks fruit already. Appears that elevage occurs in a mix of botti and barrique.

  November 11, 2020 - Lo elegí con algo de miedo... ya se sabe que la nebbiolo agradece mucho la botella para expresarse en plenitud. Es mostraba un color rubí de capa media con el ribete abierto. La nariz atractiva, con toques de cacao, frutilla roja, matices florales, toques especiados y algún apunte fresco al final. En boca tiene buen ataque, cuerpo medio y -lo más sorprendente- un tanino amable y pulido. Con notable estructura es largo y muy bien perfilado. Lo he disfrutado mucho.

  May 7, 2019 - I bought this after the 2016 after enjoying that year’s version so much. But it’s not as good. It is a very nice wine, but more austere and without the juicy cherry element of the 16. It is good drinking and pretty good value but possibly not from the best of vintages.

  November 14, 2017 - Sommelier recommendation at Hillenbergs (Humlegardsgatan, Stockholm), on its own. Delicate and pure. Some grip.
