  September 9, 2023 - Medium ruby color with pink rim (under light) and orange tint. Dried strawberry, prune, dried cherry, truffles, herbs, liquorice, tobacco, coca cola, and hint of vanilla. Elegant, layered and seductive. Great structure, and little shaper than Paje. Long dry finish.
  
  I opened this bottle but did not decant at 11am. It was closed with massive tannin. We drank at 7pm and finally it was ready.
  
  This bottle probably need another 4-8 years under ideal storage for the tannins and elements to integrate. Despite 12 years of bottle age, there was no sediment.

  December 27, 2021 - Very elegant expression of Nebbiolo, with very integrated tannins, no discernible wood influence, roses, berry and stone fruits and a long finish. 13,5% alcohol, a tiny biodynamic funk on the nose on opening. Silky smooth mouthfeel and that typical Roagna precision. This is currently understated, poised and fresh- not necessarily “wow” but impossible to find any fault with. Keen to understand what more age will bring in terms of complexity - next one in 5 years.

  April 5, 2021 - Clear light red in colour. Notes of cherry, spice, earth, and leather. Drinking beautifully right now.
