May 21, 2023 - Very nice to drink right. In my view it is in the perfect drinking window and I doubt it will gain complexity in the future.
Opened 2,5 hours, just pouring a small glass to check it out and to open the neck of the bottle. Let it aerate in my cellar and took it up just 15 minutes before drinking.
Dran in Zalto Bordeaux stems.
Opening with mature red fruits, red cherry and raspberry, and some balsamic notes, with mint and eucalyptus,
During the evening it showed more earthy notes. Not very complex but never boring.
Velvety in the mouth, medim - acidity, medium tannins well integrated, soft and rounded. medium long finish. -

December 23, 2021 - Been planning on drinking this one for a while - what better time than Christmas?
N: Oak, vanilla, chocolate, tobacco, and cherry.
T: chocolate, leather, vanilla, oak, hints of cloves and fruity notes of cherry and plum. Very smooth, seductive.
This is beautiful beautiful wine. A stunning Rioja. Amazing.

December 25, 2020 - Served with grilled lamb for Xmas dinner. Fabulous, pretty much exactly what I was hoping for. Very sad that I didn't buy a case when I had the chance, and now I've got one bottle left.
