May 23, 2020 - WSET Level 3 Online (Week 3, Loire Valley, Alsace, and Austria): [from Coravin]

The appearance is clear and pale lemon in colour.

The nose is clean with medium(-) intensity aromas. There are primary notes of floral (chamomile), secondary notes of oak (vanilla), and notes of bruised apple. This wine is developing.

On the palate, the wine is medium-dry with high acidity, medium alcohol, and medium body. The flavours have a medium(+) intensity and show notes of floral (chamomile), tropical fruit (pineapple, rockmelon, passionfruit), oak (vanilla, toast), and bruised apple. The finish has a medium(+) length.

This is a very good quality wine; can drink now, but has potential for further ageing.

August 16, 2019 - Drinking perfectly now. So multifaceted with minerallity, citrus notes, some sweetness at the end. I think people who have rated this below 90 have been too harsh on what is an excellent wine.

November 17, 2017 - Light to medium body, pale golden color. Intense tropical fruits, flowers with citrus notes aroma. Dominant ripe peaches combined with pineapple finish. Good Chenin, refreshing, complex and balanced but slightly sweet for me. Food friendly, best match is poultry or sharp cheeses. Open half hour in advance. Serve 12º - 14º. Drink now and next couple years.
