March 17, 2023 - Wow! What a QPR! This wine is excellent for the price. I would have guessed much more $$. As a 14 it is showing great integration and balance in the maturing elements. Great effort!

May 13, 2021 - Really good now, drinking from Plum dispenser one glass at a time. It opens fairly quickly in the glass and is in it's sweet spot now.

September 21, 2019 - It's improving. Drank from plum.wine over two weeks. I probably won't drink another until Spring and I'm already looking forward to tasting it's development.

June 13, 2019 - Double decanted as it was quite closed on first pour. No sediment. This wine needed air. 1 hour in showed a lovely floral nose. Liked it, didn't love it. Lacking some life, yet not lifeless. Needed a bit more acidic lift. It did pair well with our marinated charcoal grilled flank steak. I just wasn't running to the cellar to open another. Not flawed just didn't reach greatness.

January 12, 2019 - PNP. Very quaffable CS-based blend. Fruit forward nose, smooth palate and lush tannins on the medium long finish. Decanting for an hour would have made this even a little better.

April 16, 2017 - Deep ruby red with garnet edges. Fruit bomb on the nose with loads of red berries with a touch of cinnamon, nutmeg, herbs and dark floral notes. Moderate tannins (7/10) and medium plus body. A touch of heat on the palate, this is still a baby. Tannic backbone with lots of structure. Notes of dark black cherries, dark spices, cinnamon and a touch bitter in the long finish. Drink from 2019 till 2029.

    April 16, 2017 - Fruity initial attack. Tannins 8/10.

    Needs a lot more decant.

Bite it the backend. Possibly petit Verdot. This bite is too tough at the end and drops the score 2 or 3 points.
