September 24, 2023 - E1 belated bday celebration at Wimborne. Pop and poured.
    Drank in Riedel Riesling stemless.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs.
Nose medium+ intensity, with aromas of citrus lemon, clean steeliness, chalk and stones minerality, just a hint of reductive smoky gunflint fading off to reveal nice toasty integrated oak with air. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of cream peach, citrus lemon confit and lemon-limes, sweet cream, emerging honeyed nut integrated oak, wet stony minerality. Rounded long finish.
Very good quality. Drinking in a nice place already. Almost losing all the reductive aromas thing I distinctly appreciate about PYCM whites. Lovely palate flavours.

September 4, 2023 - Lovely as always. Seemed a bit more youthful than I remember . Tempted to try to resist for another couple of years. Try again in 2025/6. 4

July 2, 2023 - A beauty! In a good place now, open and rich fruit with a touch of struck match complexity . Lots going on here. 4+

February 18, 2022 - Mid lemon green color. Warm ripe orchard fruits mingling with cool lime and lemon notes, roasted nuts too, all supported by firm matchstick and flinty minerals, as expected. So vibrant and zesty palate with savoury chalky minerals almost Chablis Grand Cru like but with the tenderness and richness of its nearby Montrachet traceability. Round, creamy and lust with good grip. Mouth watering and long. This 2015 Pucelle is drinking perfectly well now.
