September 11, 2019 - The last of 6 bottles I purchased from Last Bottle in 2016. The first 5 were easily 90 point bottles, but this one checks in at 87.
Opaque purple color. Pepper, plum, and blackberries on the nose. More spices and blackberries on the palate, along with notes of chocolate, boysenberry and oak. This easy-drinking wine is dry, juicy, and medium bodied. Tannins are medium, alcohol medium, and the acidity is medium plus.
As noted above, this wine has begun to fade, so if you have any left, drink it asap.
