July 24, 2016 - Will this chard make the heavens open and your socks go up and down? Probably not. But at $17, it is a good QPR local white. We are excited to see Oregon delve further and further into chardonnay. David Hill has a nice one here. If you want a step up, try Belle Pente which has more depth and complexity. Side bar: David Hill is a fun winery that is well worth seeking out as it is well off the beaten path. Beautiful place to have a picnic. Plenty of good juice on the tasting list. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Plan to spend some time here if you get the chance. You won't be sorry.
