March 8, 2020 - A nice deep black purple colour. A dry aroma of pepper, spice and black berries. Smooth body, the tannin is fine and chocolatety, full bodied. Lost a lot of the fruit on the second night. Very easy to drink in the first night, balanced acidity with good fruit. Past it’s peak, but well worth drinking now.

May 31, 2019 - Purple black colour. Aroma of old oak, spice and dark berries. Plum, dark chocolate, stewed fruit, aniseed. Tannin is fine but evident. Full body, long finish. A tang at the finish is the only distracting feature. Requires some breathing time.

November 26, 2018 - Lovely black colour with a thin crimson hue. Dusty aroma, pine, aniseed. Blackcurrant, mulberry, blueberry, sweet black fruit dominates. Sweet spice, light pepper. Full body, well balanced tannin, medium strength, even profile. Balanced acidity.
Impressive wine, fruit maybe a bit dulled but everything is well balanced. Super smooth, didn’t require much time to breathe. Great with food or by itself. From memory this is much improved from a heart ago. Bought half a dozen from them winemaker when he departed from the business.

February 10, 2017 - Deep colour. Aroma of old oak and dried mushroom. Blackberry, mulberr, cherry, pepper and olive. Tannin is subtle but evident. Not smooth but strong flavours. Requires a few more years at a minimum.

July 14, 2016 - Deep purple colour. Cranberry, blackberry, chocolate and dried herbs. Medium body with medium + finish. Good level of tannin support the wine. Slightly bitter finish and a bit closed. It has the potential to develop but I am not fully confident it will.
