July 22, 2022 - Rather too linear for what it should be yet still enjoyable. Primarily lemon now. But you can sense the depth and the more interesting flavors and nuances to come but you have to wait at least a few more years, not surprising for a Grand Cru 2014. Still, the ‘14 Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet recently was showing more.

May 24, 2019 - I was hoping for more but it seems to be in hibernation at this stage. I decanted it for a couple of hours to try to open it up but there was no change and no development in the glass over another three hours. The best part is the density and incipient concentration with that vibrant 2014 vintage acidity. Quite linear on the palate, though, yellow fruits and lemon and the length is just medium. It’s good but needs more time.

May 19, 2018 - Splendid. Very concentrated in the Lucien Le Moine style, yet remarkably agile. A toddler, no longer an infant, there is some development in aroma and flavor. Beautiful mixed citrus, lime, lemon, grapefruit and a touch of spearmint, white flower and vanilla, focused by firm acidity. Precise and tightly coiled, it could develop magnificently since all the parts are in place.
