November 1, 2017 - Atractiva treixadura de color amarillo pajizo, nariz fresca, bien perfilada, con notas de manzana verde y recuerdos herbáceos y un seductor fondo cítrico. En boca tiene buen ataque, cierta untuosidad, acidez excelente, de nuevo reaparecen frescas sensaciones herbáceas, ligeros amargos, con estructura media y notable persistencia. Muy disfrutable!

July 7, 2016 - Spanish Mixed Bag, Summer of 2016; 7/2/2016-7/15/2016: A mysterious bottle, bearing neither vintage nor a clear indication of producer. (No mention of Merencio, but only BM SL.). It does bear the initials of winemaker Jorge Perez and seems to be the current release, presumably 2015. 12% ABV, down from the 13% reported for the 2014.
I wanted to like this much more than I did. There was an attractive whiff of scrumping apples on the nose, but on the palate this was dominated by a sickly off-dry taste that I just couldn't get past.
