  March 2, 2022 - Stag's Leap Library Wine Tasting (Heritage Gallery - Chicago IL): Walk around tasting, direct from the winery. Smoky and mature black cherry with so much charm. Seamless from start-to-finish with lots of brightness. I wish more Napa Cabernet were still like this.

  March 2, 2022 - Post-Tasting Bordeaux and Stag's Leap Dinner (Portofino - Chicago IL): One of the most brilliant wines from the tasting, but this bottle was sadly slightly corked.

  July 13, 2018 - An exceptional wine at 41 years old, good fill, 10 mm into neck, still vibrant, ruby color with only minimal garnet edges, complex nose of currants, red fruits, cedar, almonds, earl grey tea, evolved and increased in complexity over an hour before the bottle was finished, full mouth feel, excellent mid palate with a long finish, no sediment at all, still has years to go
