October 24, 2020 - Yellow color with a bouquet and flavor of pineapple, citrus, creme brulee, and minerals with good depth, nuance, and balance, and a long finish. Exceptional wine and a WOW!

September 7, 2020 - This is a big, luscious Chardonnay, with plenty of depth of flavor. Shockingly, it overpowered the risotto we ate alongside it. Nothing subtle here.

July 4, 2020 - In OCNJ with family for Rowena's bday dinner. Scallops, crab cakes and grilled veggies. Chilled, PnP, drank over an hour.

Medium/deep gold color. Nose of pineapple, citrus, white flowers, with some oyster/saline notes. Rich and viscous palate showing candied lemon, pineapple, orange zest, apricot, almonds. Notes of creme brulee through the mid palate. Full bodied and long, layered finish. Creamy texture

Just great, continued to evolve in the glass over the hour we drank it.
Great depth and texture, would be good to linger over for longer than we drank it. In a great spot now, should continue to drink at this level for a few more years at least. Worth opening if you have more than one. Great wine....as expected...

April 3, 2020 - Rich and viscous. Honey and nuts. Flowers. Kept evolving in glass. Did not want to put it down. Herbed Asparagus Fettuccini and baked cod with Panko. Finished with Lula's dark chocolate caramels. No hurry on this it will only become more integrated with layers in a couple of years.

February 1, 2020 - Rich and expressive notes of citrus, lemon curd, beeswax, almond and apricot. Another amazing finish that goes and on. Delicious.

January 28, 2020 - Straw yellow. White peach, nectarine fruit. Some almond notes on the finish. Still has some decent acidity. I'm becoming more of the belief that Aubert Chardonnays are better sooner rather than later after release.

December 12, 2019 - An excellent bottle of Chardonnay that lives up to the hype. Everything was perfect on this but it had just a hint of astringency on the finish. I wish I had decanted it but it was a pop and pour at the restaurant amongst twenty other bottles. It was one of the first empty bottles. I have two more that I will either decant or age a little longer. A great bottle but if I had more I would wait at least another 6-12 months before checking in or would decant to see this baby in its best light. Either way great wine with a nice nose, crushed rock, tropical fruit notes on the palate. Everyone seemed to enjoy it.

October 19, 2019 - White flowers and nuts on the nose, perhaps a bit advanced? Palate very rich, nice white fruit, nutty, nice mineral long finished. An enjoyable bottle but perhaps not in the best shape? Btw I bought from the producer on release.
