  Classic Spätburgunder nose with red fruits
  On the palate still a bit of raspberry, clean. Almost no tertiary. A bit of bitterness which got better after 1 hr.

  March 28, 2023 - On full display right now without extensive aeration. Typical warm fruit of kaiserstuhl, however not cooked or jamy. Well balanced acidity. Lacks some complexity and even more so on the next day. Drink up.

  December 15, 2020 - Super interesting development here. It was paired against a 'no-name' Vosne-Romanee of roughly the same price. There was more of a resemblance between the nose of the two than I had expected, especially on the base of the previous showings of this. Very elegant nose compared to earlier. On the palate this had a lot more going on and still showed this lovely combination of zappy PN character, smoky oak/volcanic soil, full body, great balance, lift and energy. Especially after some hours of breathing; of course the last half glass was by far the best. Entering a very interesting stage of development and I suggest you check in, if you've got any. I suppose it has probably at least five more years left in it, but certainly entering the plateau of maturity. I suggest decanting. Last glass was at least 93 if not 94.
