December 27, 2020 - Bright looking. Nose of blackberries, cigar box, orange peel and oyster shell minerality. Good intense black fruit with a persistent and complex finish featuring black currant and baking spices. Still drinking great, and should for five years at least.

November 21, 2020 - I really enjoy the Syrah's from Carlisle, this has evolved over the years and no longer has that barnyard effects. This was well balanced with some rustic, bacon fat flavors. would guess it to be a Syrah blind.

November 15, 2020 - Last bottle of this and while it is balanced for me it's "meh" compared to other Carlisles and other vintages of this vineyard (much like last notes on 7/12/20). Still 90+ and glad to move on.

July 24, 2020 - Silky soft tannins. Good mouthfeel. Dark reddish purple in the glass. Dark fruit.
