October 18, 2020 - Aromas of sage and bitch tree. Taste starts with volumes of tart cherry and burnt blood orange. Minimal oaking. Finishes quickly with smooth pellets of graphite. Drink now thru 2025.

March 7, 2020 - Erin says reductive but I think it's just tight and really pretty.

May 2, 2018 - Cedar, earth, again tart red fruit driven and savory, best structure of all 3 vintages we tried. '11, '12, '13.

May 2, 2018 - More defined and clear out of the set '12 and '11 on the nose. Wild herbs on the nose. aromatically the '13 is the winner. And much more tighter refined structure on the palate as well. Salty on the palate. Like mineral salts.

February 19, 2018 - Benvenuto Brunello 2018, Montalcino centro; 2/16/2018-2/19/2018 (Montalcino): (Benvenuto Brunello, 2018, Montalcino) Classic pale>brick red color; bright and clear. The first aromas are that of soil, so I already like it; with air some red fruits and floral begin to emerge, but this is tight today. Pretty, but tight, and very traditional, as most natural wines are. Depth and complexity will no doubt be developing as there's very good underlying material here, it'll just need another 2-3 years in the cellar before those qualities more fully (being to) emerge. 14,5% abv. drink 2021-2035. recommended+
