April 6, 2024 - Dark ruby hue. Aromas of cassis, cherry, earthy, leather, licorice, plum, smoke, tar, violet. Full bodied with full tannins and high acidity. Soft tannins. A little hot at the outset and needs time to open up. But otherwise beautiful and expressive. A definitive pairing with red meat. 100% Tempranillo.

April 9, 2023 - Easter Sunday lunch, paired with roast lamb, garlic & rosemary. Call me old-fashioned. Purplish in the decanter, opened around 2 ½ hrs before drinking, big brambly nose, long and broad on the palate. May have some development yet to come but enjoyable as it is now. I’ll try not to rush the others and will report back.
