March 27, 2022 - Some funk on the nose which seemed to dissipate with a little air. That being said, I like a little funk. Super leathery and earthy with a bit of background fruit. A fine wine which is showing nicely now but I wouldn't cellar it much longer. I think it will pair nicely with my barbeque ribs.

September 5, 2021 - Real nice! Funk much less prevalent than previous years, and nice black fruit in a great balance. Versatile with food too. This is its peak I would imagine.

August 8, 2020 - Oh yes, funk, barnyard and leather for sure. I'm thinking a little brett but not over the top. That being said, I like it and I think it adds to the complexity of the wine. Some underlying fruit. I think it is at a good spot now. I don't think it will gain much from additional cellaring. Very Rhone like. I wish I had more.
