October 18, 2017 - Did expect a bit more from Sancerre in this case, this was, in a way, disappointing. Less expressive and funky than the Sancerre that I love. Aroma is full of Lychee, flint, lemon, lemon zest, nuts, almonds, green apple, peach, juicy grapes, honey and apricots. Also, the loveliest element here was, Smoke. The palate obviously is medium acidic and has a long finish. Perhaps it would get better with some age.

Nose: good sauvignon blanc nose. Taste: not that much fruit, a bit oakey and a bit of liquorice. The nose was better than the taste. 86(-87). -

Still have a few bottle and will drink them with pleasure
