Two bottles later over dinner with friends, I barely knew what hit me — very smooth, with some leather, chocolate and baking spice notes, all integrated into a nice, but not overpowering, fruit core. This is now really hitting its peak, and of course I think I might have one bottle left from my case. Silly me...

September 22, 2020 - Well done, but seemed slightly imbalanced at moments with some harsh tones and awkwardness, perhaps softens the edges with 2 - 4 more years and hopefully integrates better.

June 23, 2020 - Similar to prior note on day 1, but the wife left this open overnight. Vacuvin the next AM, then reopened at 5:00 PM for Coronahour. The extra air really smoothed this out and allows the PV to show its profile. Much more dark chocolate, herbal and leafy notes. Muscular but also somewhat soft tannins. Very nice.
