March 20, 2020 - Pulled the cork on this after a few samples from Coravin over the last several weeks.
Enjoyed this with some bucatini al Amatriciana tonight.
This is a very nice vintage.

March 8, 2020 - Ruby hue with medium-high saturation. Aromas and flavors of black olive, blackberry, cheese, cherry, coffee, hay, leather, oak, plum, smoke, tar, vanilla, and violet. Medium-full body; full (yet supple) tannins; and medium-high acidity. An engaging, rustic nose with an elegant, medium-long finish. An approachable SuperTuscan (itself a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese, and Syrah) from one of the oldest winemaking families.

February 28, 2020 - A drink all day special. Nothing really stands out, and nothing is out of place. While I preferred older vintages of this, before Antinori's house style turned so modern, I would gladly accept a healthy pour of this, any day, any time.

December 29, 2019 - Medium red color wine with faint residual sugar notes, light tannin, faint berry notes with a dry finish. Can't go wrong with this classic.

Medium body, smooth and fairly deep flavor. Red fruits. Goes down easily, reasonable length.

November 19, 2019 - 89+. Has fragrant aromas of raspberries, cassis, coffee and spice. Its medium bodied charming black and red fruits palate has nice layers, great freshness and end mediumish and fresh. 13.5%. Improves with 90 mins+ aeration. Drink in 3-4 years.

November 6, 2019 - Mild nose, but lush on the palate. Red fruits and a touch of pepper balanced with bright acidity makes this an excellent food-friendly wine. I wouldn't call this complex or a long ager, but a truly enjoyable companion to a meal of sauce and pasta, or red meat dishes. This is the kind of wine that brings friends together over a well set table and conversation.
