December 23, 2023 - Intense et structuré, tout est là, c'est bien fait. L'apport boisé de l'élevage est encore un peu trop présent à ce stade-ci. À attendre encore 2-3 ans.

(6/12/2021) Romano Dal Forno's Valpolicella Superiore Vigneto di Monte Lodoletta is as good as anyone else's best Amarone, hands down. Fantastic wine. It's drinking well now but still rough, and there's an afterburner of alcohol, altho the label indicates "only" 14.5%. Wait for another 5 years to try again, then pass it on to your kids or grandkids. -

May 26, 2022 - As someone mentioned it seemed a little hot at first, needed a minute to settle down.
Luxardo cherries, ripe dark berry, oak, cigar box. I have a 6 bottle vertical of 12/13/14 I’m in no rush.
