April 11, 2016 - Vinitaly 2016; 4/10/2016-4/13/2016 (Verona, Italy): 2 months in oak resulting in a caramel color, brown notes with chocolate, prunes, dates and fig, glue again, nutty and earthy in the palate with walnut and almond slightly roasted notes. The wine shows nice refreshing acidity, not cloying, high overall flavor intensity, 14% alc and med finish. It’s a very good wine that lacks that extra layer of complexity too be really outstanding. Nevertheless, I’d have any day
