December 10, 2023 - This is very nice. Decanted 3 hours. Lots of fruit, red berries, spice. Tannins. Good balance. A bit more feminin than I expected. Medium to long finish.

November 16, 2022 - Bolgheri. Bdx blend without Sangiovese. Deep dark red, no discoloration. Nose of wax, dark fruit, leather and cassis. Mouthwatering acid. Tart cherries, tea, tobacco, and some leather.

February 1, 2021 - This specific Bolgheri is produced by Angelo Gaja, an premium wine producer from Piedmont that has ventured in Tuscany. 2014 was a difficult year in the Bolgheri region and I believe Gaja has navigate better than others the challenge. Medium purple in color with a balanced taste of red berries, cherries and raspberries, notes of leather and cigar box and an herbal hint. Tannins well integrated and long finish.
