June 19, 2023 - Very enjoyable. Black Licorice at the start, moving to fruit flavors as the wine opened up. Not many tannins, so recommend drinking up now.

    April 29, 2023 - PnD let air for 2hrs.

Consistent with previous note. Holding up as expected. Still has some fruit with complex tertiary notes. Drink up over the next two years.

February 17, 2022 - I feel this wine has come into its own. Opened it at about 62 degrees and let decant for 20 min. Slight floral opening with stone fruit and floral overtones. At this age the tannins had softened and the flavors have melded. I can see where, a few years post vintage, the rating may have been lower but I feel now is the time for this value priced Super Tuscan.

January 29, 2021 - Holding this wine for 7 years has produced something that ticks every box for me. The funk and barnyard that is added matches the clove, chocolate, spice, vanilla, tobacco, and leather. The skill of Antinori sitting in the bottle longer than most are willing/able to hold it for has led to something spectacular. Much of the fruitiness, if it once existed, is gone - and the wine benefits greatly.

June 1, 2020 - What a delightful wine for under $20. It was yummy upon purchase. After six years in cellar it has taken on a faint cigar box in mid palate with slightly cedar on long finish. So good with chicken parm.
