January 10, 2024 - Lovely as usual: pine needles, forest berries, unripe cooked strawberry, wet asphalt, chalky, excellent qpr ! One bottle to go, will therefore finish next year, otherwise no hurry with this, but also nothing to gain from waiting, I conjecture.
October 25, 2023 - Tasted from magnum. 2 hr decant.
October 24, 2023 - Unfortunate bottle. But they exist and hence have to be counted.
August 4, 2023 - The only thing keeping me from giving it the next 90 is that the alcohol is sometimes too obvious. This was not the case with the three vintages 2010 - 2012.
June 7, 2023 - Very impressive for a simple Cotes-du-Rhône
No wonder WA gave it 91 pts
Great Syrah notes predominantly in the nose, with tobacco and black pepper
Fabulous mouthfeel and viscosity, with full balanced dark currant/berry fruit and plum notes
Balanced and lingering finish
June 5, 2023 - This bottle was slightly decadent. I would suggest one drinks up, unless one stores it very well.
P.S.: we had left less than about a fourth of the bottle standing until a week after opening, just on the kitchen floor with the original cork. I had expected it to have deteriorated, but it had become a very pleasant port like elixir on something like a 91 level. Try it !

Consistent with previous note. Did not follow my own advice to get more and hold off but this is so good you win when you fail with this. Massive balance length intensity and complexity regardless of price. At its price this is one of the great values of all time. Upped the score for posterity.
