April 5, 2019 - Penetrating and persistent green apple with melon, nectarine, and soil tones.

March 24, 2018 - Barely a hint of sweetness. A little bit shut down but still enjoyable

September 6, 2017 - I think this wine really shines as an accompaniment to food. On its own it is delicious but, at least for now, the acidity is pronounced giving it a tart quality. But that same tartness is mouthclearing. Very long pleasing finish. Nothing harsh or out of place. Sweet, red fruit aroma. Lots of fun and for the price, wonderful. i can hardly imagine a better accompaniment for Asian food, but it would pair with a wide range of dishes.

August 6, 2017 - This walks the fine line between the fruitiness of a sweeter riesling and the intense mineral-driven notes of a dry riesling well. I agree with Loren a peach start that transitions to green apple. Medium acidity, not as acid-driven as many 15s I've had but the mineral notes here are intense and add nice structure. Certainly drinking well now but I feel it's a bit tight compared to where its eventual potential will take it.

March 10, 2017 - A Visit to Max. Ferd. Richter (Weingut Max. Ferd. Richter): This comes off like a Spatlese to me. Beautiful nose of minerals with some peaches. On the palate, there is a bit of mulled/spice wine notes again turning more tart green apples on the finish. Open and delicious and really interesting. from strength to strength in 15.
