Community Tasting Notes 2

September 22, 2019 - Pours an unassuming light straw color. This wine has big, prickly aromatics that include petrol and sour green apple Jolly Rancher.

On the palate this has bright, cleansing acidity with light to medium body. Quite dry. Big flavors of green apple, lime, grapefruit, and that chalky mineral element I love so much. Good length on the finish.

High quality Finger Lakes Riesling and still very fresh.

December 20, 2018 - Unscrewed and poured. Perfumey floral aroma with honeysuckle notes. Tart, crisp flavors of lemon, minerals. Tangerine finish. Firm, focused, vibrant, and complex, Amazing value.

It's probably been 30 years since I last had a wine from Wagner. They've come a long way.
