October 21, 2018 - Opened one day ago. Inky black-purple. Very viscous. Impressive nose with expressive blue and black fruits. Just packed with fruit. Big, rich wine in the mouth. Fruit, oak, and tannin in abundance, although the tannins are sweet. Good balancing acid. 5-13-17-9: 94/100.

March 11, 2018 - Very fruit forward, this is made to drink now, and enjoy now, as it is delicious. Bright dark berry, cherry and a hint of chocolate. Really good.

February 10, 2017 - A very interesting wine. I think the Verdot adds a "brooding" characteristic to this wine, taming the vibrancy of the Cab. The wine is still very terroir driven, with great fruit, acidity, and balance, but this wine is hard to describe in traditional terms. It comes across as more of bottled emotion than a particular wine. . . I'll stick with "brooding" to describe it.
