December 20, 2020 - Nose rustic, hints of red currant, big black pepper and garrigue, hints of VA. Palate still fresh and acidic, with moderately long finish, good minerality, and better fruit than I would expect with age and vintage. Tannins integrating nicely with fruit and acid structure. Some iron notes, too. Really a nice wine, if rustic.

January 29, 2020 - In my last TN, I said that I would undoubtedly would drink my remaining bottle during the 2019 summer. I failed to do so and six months or so later the wine has lost bloom and vitality. The Nomacorc probably doesn't help. Still good and enjoyable but not what it was quite recently.

June 17, 2019 - This is in a great spot right now. Like with the best youngish fruity and tangy wines, the bottle was finished almost before I realised it. I have one bottle left which I will undoubtedly open this summer. Very good.

August 1, 2018 - I'm a fan of Lo Sang and this one has all the usual tangy fruit and minerals with perhaps a touch more amplitude. Good.

March 8, 2018 - Popped and poured. Rich aromas of cedar, red fruit, forest floor. Rustic flavors of cassis, cherry, herbs. Some sap and mint in the finish.

A lovely country wine on top, with layers of elegance and finesse underneath. Outstanding QPR.
