February 23, 2019 - Praelum - The Lord of the Wines (Praelum Wine Bistro): Very intense on the palate with lillies, rose, grass, cassis, and stones. A punch of raisins and stewed meat towards the end. A memorable one

November 25, 2018 - Pinot Palooza Singapore 2018 (Theatreworks, Mohd Sultan Road): pale ruby; pronounced nose of cassis and stew, acidic, tannic, intense, with raspberry, cassis, pepper, quite meaty

June 28, 2018 - Sweet, spicy, artificial strawberry flavour aromas.
Earthy, strange taste on the mid palate
Finish ok. Overrated or an off bottle?

March 18, 2017 - Trade tasting:This had typical Martinborough aromas of earth, shale, maybe iron, raspberries, red cherries and coffee. Its medium bodied lissom yet vivacious and elegant balanced and delineated palate is in the same earthy minerally red fruits vein. It ends longish and fine. The only two bemols are the price at 44 Euros and the 15.5% alcohol.

March 8, 2017 - Retailer tasting. The wine was light ruby in colour and had a nice, classic Pinot Noir nose of red fruit, some floral notes and earth, complemented by a touch of spice. On the palate the wine showed red fruit, spices and liquorice as well as earthy and mild vegetal notes, with lively, medium-plus acidity, medium-level tannin and very good length of the spice-driven finish. A very nice, medium-bodied, balanced and very elegant Pinot Noir that just needs some time to resolve the tannin. I bought a case of six.
