April 21, 2021 - very rough wine to drink by itself or paired with food.

January 9, 2019 - This appears dark but medium bodied and lives up to that on the palate. Its very pleasant and delivers a refined clean wine that has, probably, characteristics of the malbec and cabernet flavours without the reserva malbec power that I was looking for. But upon considering further this is a very refined medium bodied elegant blend with a touch of nice ripe red plummy fruit still evident even at this age, probably reflecting the chairman's preferences. It might cellar quite well too, having pretty good balance perhaps on the acidic side rather than tannin, but pleasant and a good food wine. I like that they say they've used 85% French oak (it seems low toast and hardly evident) and at 13.5% abv its been held in check. Probably this has very good potential for cellaring and its rather good drinking now. I would say overall a very creditable effort and a good price point. Just do not expect that big malbec impact as this is rather more refined and elegant and deserves more kudos than its immediate pop and pour may indicate.

November 13, 2018 - Very nice upon opening. Drink up in one night, a day later, even vacuum sealed, it was coming apart.
