June 13, 2022 - Nicely balanced. Not overdone. Hard to justify the tariff paid, but it's a historic flagship-so they get a pass. Ripe black cherry and Raspberry. Medium finish with integrated tannins. As expected this is ready to go.

October 28, 2020 - Mixed notes tonight on this. I get such strong flavors of forest floor, sweet found berries from a blueberry field and some cedar wood. Balanced tannins at this stage and what I would characterize as ready to go consumption.

Fairly deep black purple.
Fresh violets and raspberry on the nose
On the palate this is bone dry, and seemed quite balanced, restrained and needing much more time.
My initial thought was actually a northern Rhône,
Really quite nice balance and avoids any heaviness. -

April 12, 2020 - It is good. Deep purple thick balanced juice. Not overly complex, plum and chocolate. Not a lot of spice to it. Another review said it lost its edge after an hour, that’s interesting because it has seemed to get a little boring. Still delicious. But simple.
