  November 11, 2012 - Wine was very tight upon initial opening. Dark purple in appearance. Initial pepper and licorice on the nose. After in the glass for about a 1/2 hour the wine began to open up. The palate was filled with dark fruits. It was fairly smooth with a quick finish.

  March 11, 2007 - Wine Tasting - Zinfandel vs. Shiraz vs. Primitivo; 3/10/2007-3/11/2007 (My Place): This was unfiltered Zin, but frankly tasted more acidic than anything else. The nose was fantastic - strong fruits, very fruity. Color was cherry, that went orange when swirled. Taste started peppercorn, then licorice, then acid and alcohol that stayed on the tongue longer than I would have liked. Interesting, but not altogether good.
