March 11, 2019 - Medium ruby with transparency. Aromas of cherry, pomegranate, tar, rubber, and a little rose petal. Medium body, acid, and finish, with flavors of cherry, pomegranate, lemon, orange peel, flowers, and a little barrel spice. Though not tannic, it still strikes me as a little young. I'm going to hold for another year or two before trying again.

March 27, 2017 - Consistent with previous bottles. Bright ruby in color, this wine shows of rhubarb, sour cherry, nutmeg and raspberry on the nose. The mouth feel brought spicy tannins, Asian spices, black tea and kirsch undertones. The finish was medium in length with the soft tannins, intense aromas and bright acidity. 13.5% abv.

Purchased for $25US, this is a highly complex offering. Glad I was able to find more bottles of this. Highly recommended.

January 12, 2017 - Absolutely loved his wine.

Drank the bottle over a couple days. At first I was struck by an intense raspberry nose, and a zippy acidity.

As it opened up, more savory, even gamey notes crept in, and it rounded out a bit.

Really enjoyed this wine, and would buy again. Seems like a great example of what a cali Pinot can be.
